first roll of film

i shot this roll a couple months ago and it took so long to get them developed and printed. 35mm film is so lovely and i'm working on another roll right now. i'm begun to experiment more with film, 35mm and 120 on my TLR. i just loaded the film today and can't wait to shoot more with it.

these turned out better than i imagined and sadly my light meter is broken so not all of them were properly exposed :'(

lucid memories

a collection of photographs that hold previous memories that i wish i could return to. summer has come and gone and everything has changed. i can't remember what it was like to be inspired, to want to take pictures and document the world around me. i miss that feeling and i miss everything that could be expressed so easily.

yesterday, being the fourth of july, we drove off to see fireworks. it started raining on the way there, but by the time the fireworks started the rain had gone. it had been awhile since i'd actually gone and seen fireworks, and maybe one of the last for awhile.

summer in the city

i recently visited new york city; i love it there and even though it was rainy and dreary i still managed to take a lot of pictures. i'm not quite used to candid and street photography and it is near impossible to manual focus and try to capture what i wanted. taking these were a lot of fun because it's so different than what i usually do and although these aren't the best, i really like how some of them turned out.
